RESEARCH - INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN

For efficient combined research, I prefer BioCore by theoretical and computational biophysics group (http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/biocore/) as a private forum and my research application (http://www.gulfdoctor.net/research.htm) as a public forum. Please read the terms and conditions below and if you agree, follow the instructions after that. Please note that I am not associated with TACB group or BioCore in anyway. Kindly read their disclaimer before you proceed.

1. I reserve the right to add or remove members to our research group.
2. I reserve the right to publish the work in any journal I prefer and the order of co authors in the publication will be decided by me.
3. In any matter concerning this project, my decision will be final.

Please note that, I am ready to join any of your projects as a co investigator. In  that case you will have the above rights.

1. Visit http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/biocore/ and register as a new member unless you are already a member by clicking on the 'New user' as indicated by the red line. [The picture may show an older version of the page]


 

2. Visit http://www.gulfdoctor.net/research.htm and register as a new member unless you are already a member by clicking on any of the 'new users register here' link. [The picture may show an older version of the page]

3. Send me your user names for both Biocore and Gulfdoctor. Please do not send the password. (webmaster@gulfdoctor.net). Use the form below to send me the information.

4. Wait for my invitation to join the project.

5. Login at http://www.gulfdoctor.net/research.htm and click on 'invitations' link and accept my invitation.

6. Biocore team will send you instructions as to how to accept my invitation. Follow their instructions.

7. Visit http://www.gulfdoctor.net/doit.htm#ongoing and click on the relevant GulfDoctor ref ID.


8. The details page of project will open up. Use the 'contribute link' to post to our public forum and 'biocore' link to post to our private forum. You may directly login to Biocore here:  http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/biocore/

9. These steps are necessary as documentation and collaboration are important for successful online research. Contact me at webmaster@gulfdoctor.net for more information or further clarification.

Kindly mail me if you are unable to pursue the project because of personal reasons, so that I can invite others. You may have to spend about 3 hours a week for the project.
